Marmomac is the annual appointment that professionals in the natural and engineered stones business from all over the world cannot miss. It is the trade show event where Italian companies and producers present and showcase the best of their ‘Made in Italy’, such as products, designs and industrial machinery.

Marmomac 2022 the international fair for marble, granite, engineered stones, design and technologies is scheduled to take place between 27th-30th September 2022 in Verona at the Veronafiere exhibition centre.

Furthermore, Marmomac offers the opportunity to attend cultural events, presentations and conferences which are essential to designers, architects and specialists in this sector to discover the latest applications of stones and marbles.

Despite the difficulties and limitations due to the COVID-19 virus, OKITE® confirms you that there has been no slowdown in the delivery of our products.

Therefore, continuity of order fulfillment is guaranteed.

As for the delivery of products, we emphasize that, as stated by the World Health Organization in its guidelines of February 27, 2020: “At the moment, there is no epidemiological indication that suggests that contact with goods or products shipped by countries where the COVID-19 virus has spread is the source of COVID-19 infection for humans”. WHO will continue to closely monitor the evolution of the virus, updating its recommendations as needed. “

Therefore, currently, there are no reasons that justify the delay or refusal to receive our products.

We are confident in the procedures adopted by our Government and confident of the resolution of the epidemic in the shortest possible time.

The Project as a research tool

In Venice, in conjunction with the opening of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale, Marco Piva inaugurates his own exhibition “Designing The Complexity – Materials Colors Textures”, focused on the aesthetic and functional research behind the contemporary design planning.

OKITE®, leading brand in the quartz surfaces market, presents a new generation of stones created to offer elegant, multifunctional solutions for interior decorations.

With its formal purity, highly functional qualities and a mix of natural and high-tech features, OKITE® represents a perfect interior decoration solution to enhance any environment with its striking contemporary style.

The location is the “Scuola Grande della Misericordia”, a building attributed to Sansovino, an Italian sculptor and architect of 1500, just reopened after the renovation works by “Gruppo Umana”.

The exhibition is displayed at the ground floor, which is divided into three naves by twin columns, while upstairs, in the great hall, it’s possible to see frescoes painted by Paolo Veronese‘s school.

The exhibition starts from the theme of architecture, which is presented “in action”, through 6 videos that illustrate the design’s activities of Studio Marco Piva, each one focusing on individual aspects necessary for the realization of an architectural or design work.

The aim is to narrate the design process: from the concept phase to the development, through the selection of materials, technical design and construction phases, until the completion.
