The COVID-19 pandemic has changed workplace trends considerably, bringing efficiency, flexibility, and comfort to the forefront. These trends are impacting workspace design to prioritize employee wellbeing and sustainability in the workplace. Designers are achieving wellness goals, in part, by including natural features, eclectic spaces and neutral colors in design themes. Sustainability goals are being satisfied by using building materials that have minimal impact on the environment. OKITE® Italian quartz surfaces are specified for these spaces because they are hygienic, durable, versatile, sustainable and nature inspired.

OKITE® Italian quartz surfaces will not promote the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria and can be easily cleaned with standard disinfectants. OKITE® is a highly scratch and chemical resistance surface, compared to other products, delivering building resilience. This also means low maintenance as no sanding, polishing, or sealing is required in climate-controlled spaces. OKITE® products contribute to LEED v4.1 green building certifications and some contain recycled content which further reduces impact on the environment.

Common workplace applications: reception desks, lobby areas, food service surfaces, conference room tables, interior wall cladding, desktops, library surfaces, bathroom vanities, kitchens, common area tables and windowsills. See our OKITE® Nature Collection colors us.okite.com/ .
