Did you know that OKITE® is specified in flooring and stairway applications?

Quartz surface stairway steps are used in the office areas, restaurants, hotels, banks, shopping centers, hospitals, transportation stations, as well as many other public spaces where robust surfaces are required. Quartz steps are usually 3 cm thick. The thickness depends directly on the type of the staircase frame being use for the project. if the latter has a concrete frame a 3 cm thickness is recommended. if the frame is metal then thickness of material can be 2 cm or 3cm, depending on the unsupported span distance. For suspended staircases, the 3 cm thickness is recommended for steps.
