Resistant, multifunctional and aesthetically unique. OKITE® (pron. O-kee-te) quartz surfacing is the culmination of years of intense research, development and refinement from Seieffe Corporation, a long-standing family business that is one of Italy’s most renowned makers of innovative building products and household surfaces.

Manufactured exclusively at Seieffe’s facility in Montesarchio-Bonea (BN) Italy, and stocked in the U.S., all OKITE® production is undertaken by a team of highly skilled technicians under the watchful eye of Antonio Izzo, the family’s eldest son.

As a result, since its launch in North America in 2003 Italian made quartz, OKITE®, has redefined quality and environmental standards in its field. It has also redefined the expectations of discerning consumers and design professionals in North America and around the world.

OKITE® is present in more than 90 countries worldwide with its own distribution channel or in partnerships, as well as with over 10,000 participating dealers. Its wide network is still rising to become more international while keeping its Italian identity, made of style, meticulous craftsmanship, attention to detail and staying up to date with the latest trends.

OKITE®, Italian made quartz, is a special product available on the market. It is made of a high percentage (up to 93%) of quartz, one of the strongest materials in nature, with the addition of natural pigments and polyester resin. For this reason, OKITE® is often defined as a surface consisting of quartz-resin.

OKITE® is manufactured into slabs measuring 126” x 63” (320cm x 160cm) with thicknesses of ¾” (20mm) or 1 ¼” (30mm). It is also available, as special order, with thicknesses of 3/8” (10mm – 1 cm) and ½” (13mm – 1.3 cm).

OKITE® is, first of all, a very strong surface (5 times stronger than marble and granite). It is an easy to clean, non-porous surface; therefore, it does not require any particular maintenance. OKITE® is scratch, stain and heat-resistant, and non-inflammable – properties that attest to its great versatility. It does not absorb any liquid or food, such as coffee, lemon juice, oil, vinegar, thus preventing the formation of harmful bacteria.

Certified as a safe product, OKITE® does not require any additional chemical protection. It is the perfect choice for the kitchen, even for surfaces used for food preparation. In addition, its aesthetic features and properties make OKITE®  the perfect solution for all environments allowing you a full expression of your creativity.
